Nipper Centre Conductor - 3A
This tool is cut, creating the unique jaw shape enabling trimming of the prepared centre conductor of coaxial cables. The tool jaws are held with a centre pivot screw and nut. The handles have a PVC yellow sleeve.
What is this tool used for?
Used in the telecommunications industry in the termination of 43-type coaxial plugs and sockets to trim the prepared centre conductor of coaxial cables 2000 and 3002 series to a length of between 3.2 and 3.3 mm as the stripping length required for inner contact crimp termination.
