1.1. Maun Industries Limited, which trades under the name of Maun Industries or Maun (‘the Supplier’), supplies its goods and services to its customer (‘the Client’).
1.2. It is the intention of the Supplier that all the terms of the contract applying to all transactions on the Maun web site are contained in these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. The Supplier reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions without notice to the Client. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.
2.1. Delivery can be made to over 200 countries. Should we not list your country at checkout, contact us on +44 1623 554599 for more information.
2.2. Deliveries to destinations other than mainland UK can be arranged by the Supplier. Such deliveries can be arranged when placing your order on the website and inputting your delivery address at the checkout.
2.3. Delivery dates and times given by the Supplier are estimates only. Products are usually despatched within 3-7 working days. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options.
2.4. For UK deliveries, we offer the following services.
- UK Next Day Service using TNT Express - orders must be placed before 14:00 (UTC+1) in order to be eligible for UK next business day delivery. Should your order be placed after 14:00 then your order will be scheduled for despatch the following day*.
- Royal Mail Tracked 24*.
- Royal Mail Tracked 48*.
*Although we offer the above services, items are sold subject to their availability. For any specialist or made-to-order products (as stated on the product page), allow up to 30 working days for your order to be manufactured and despatched. For made-to-order products, the slower, less expensive delivery service option should be selected at checkout.
2.5. On some products, there are delivery/shipping restrictions. As a result, these products cannot be shipped to UK or international destinations, and collection must be made by the Client.
2.6. The Client shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. The Supplier will only tender delivery of goods to persons aged over 18.
2.7. Items are supplied subject to their availability. Whilst the Supplier will endeavour to hold sufficient stock to meet all orders, if there is insufficient stock to meet your order, the Supplier may at their discretion contact the Client to offer a substituted product or alternatively refund the price paid for such goods as soon as possible.
2.8. The Supplier reserves the right to change details and/or product specifications without notice.
2.9. The Supplier reserves the right to make delivery by instalments and tender a separate invoice in respect of each instalment. The Supplier’s failure to deliver one or more instalments or any claim by the Client in respect of any one or more instalments shall not entitle the Client to treat the Contract to be repudiated.
3.1. The price payable for the goods ordered is the price shown on the web site at the time the Supplier receives the Client’s order and any applicable charges for carriage and insurance.
3.2. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the correct price is displayed on our web site, errors may occur. If the Supplier discovers that such an error has been made in the quoted price, the Client will be contacted to confirm this.
3.3. The Client will then be given the option of cancelling the order or re-confirming it at the correct price. If the Supplier is unable to contact the Client, the order will be treated as cancelled.
3.4. Subject to clause 3.1 the Supplier must receive payment for the whole of the goods ordered together with any applicable carriage and insurance charge, before the order can be accepted.
3.5. The VAT inclusive prices quoted on the web site are shown at the current rate of VAT.
3.6. The Supplier reserves the right to change prices and details at any time without notice.
3.7. Prices shown on the web site may not be the same as those shown in the Supplier’s catalogue.
3.8. Prices shown as reductions relate to the previous price at which the products have been made available for at least 28 days.
3.9. The Client shall also be responsible for all duties, rates, taxes, dues, levies or charges imposed in connection with the goods by any country to which the goods are to be delivered. This includes fees levied by any customs agent or shipper for collecting or paying such charges on behalf of the Client.
4. Terms of payment and deposits
4.1. Clients who shop online must be aged 18 years or over.
4.2. Maun Industries accepts payment by debit card (MasterCard/Visa), credit card (MasterCard/Visa/American Express) or PayPal.
4.3. By placing an order through the web site the Client authorises the Supplier to debit their PayPal account, credit card or debit card for the total amount of the order prior to the despatch of the goods to the Client’s delivery address, unless other credit terms have been agreed previously in writing.
4.4. Interest at the rate of 5.0% over the HSBC Bank plc rate shall be charged on any sum overdue for payment and interest at that rate will continue to be charged after Judgment until any overdue payment has been made in full.
5.1. The Client shall inspect the goods at the place and time of receipt but nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall require the Client to break packaging and/or unpack goods that are intended to be stored before use.
5.2. The Client must advise the Supplier by telephone within 14 days of receipt of any claim for short delivery or carriage.
5.3. The Supplier shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage including without limitation loss of profit, of use, or of contracts arising out of the supply or failure of supply of goods (other than liability for death and personal injury resulting from the negligence of the Supplier) and whether arising in contract, tort or otherwise. In all other cases liability shall be limited to the contract price.
5.4. If the Client does not give notice within 14 days the goods will be deemed to have been delivered in the quantities shown in the delivery documents and the Client shall not be entitled and will irrevocably and unconditionally waive any right to reject the goods or claim any damages whatsoever for short delivery howsoever caused.
5.5. The Suppliers liability for short delivery is limited to making good the shortage.
6. Returns and cancellation
6.1. The Client has the right to cancel any order placed on this web site within 14 calendar days, beginning with the day after the date goods are delivered, without giving reason. Should the product you wish to cancel be specialist or made-to-order this will need to be discussed with us directly. To exercise your right to cancel an order, contact us immediately on +44 1623 554599.
6.2. On cancellation for whatsoever reason the Client must return the goods in their original condition and packaging to the Supplier at their cost unless the goods are being returned because they are faulty or incorrect goods, in which case the Supplier will meet the cost of the return on the Supplier’s nominated carrier. If goods are not returned by the Client, the Supplier reserves the right to deduct the cost of recovering the goods from any refund due to the Client.
6.3. Refunds will only be made within 30 days to the debit card, credit card or PayPal account that was originally used to complete the transaction. PayPal refunds can only be processed to the account used for payment and not to a different PayPal account.
6.4 The Supplier reserves the right to make a deduction from the amount of the refund for loss in value of the goods returned where the goods show signs of unreasonable use; for these purposes, unreasonable use includes handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We may withhold any refund until we have received the goods, or you have supplied proof of return for the goods.
6.5 If you need to return an item, contact us on +44 1623 554599 with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
7.1. The Supplier offers the Client a 12 months’ warranty against faulty materials and/or workmanship.
7.2. Any faulty products will be replaced or repaired free of charge at the discretion of the Supplier if found to be faulty, unless the fault is due to wear and tear, misuse or careless handling, accident or neglect and provided that the products are returned immediately to the Supplier at the Client’s cost, together with a proof of purchase within the guarantee period, and the reason for the return is clearly stated.
7.3. This guarantee is in addition to and in no way prejudices the Client’s contractual or statutory rights.
7.4. All samples, drawings, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising issued by the Supplier and any descriptions or illustrations contained in the Supplier’s catalogues, price lists or brochures are issued for guidance purposes only to give an approximate idea of the goods described in them and do not form part of these Terms & Conditions.
8.1. The risk in goods sold to the Client shall pass to the Client so that the Client is responsible for loss, damage or deterioration of the goods or a part thereof at the time of delivery.
9.1. The Laws of England and Wales apply to this agreement and any disputes in connection with this agreement shall be tried in the courts of England and Wales.
9.2. If any part of these conditions is invalid, illegal or unenforceable the validity, legality or enforceability of the other clauses and sub-clauses of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected and they shall remain in full force and effect.
9.3. All web site content (design, images and text) is the copyright of Maun Industries Limited and its suppliers. The content may not be copied or removed, nor may the site be altered or republished in any way without written permission of Maun Industries Limited.
9.4. All information and pricing on this website and in our current catalogue and price list were correct at the time of going live, E&OE (errors and omissions excepted).
10.1 You may place an order to purchase a product advertised for sale on this web site by following the onscreen prompts. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by clicking the “Send Payment” button on the checkout page.
10.2 All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.
10.3 If your order includes products that are not available from stock there may be a delay in despatching your order. We will attempt to contact you using the details you have provided to us to ask you how you wish to proceed. You will have the option to wait until the products are available from stock, or to cancel your order.

11.1 We cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full. Payments can be made by most major debit or credit cards, or by PayPal. We also accept direct bank transfers.
11.2 By using a debit or credit card, or PayPal to pay for your order, you confirm that the card/account being used is yours. 11.3 All debit and credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will not accept your order. We will not be obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal and we will not be liable for the item not being made available for delivery or collection. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your debit or credit card payment in accordance with your order.
11.4 If you collect your goods, you will be required to bring along the card used for payment. For your protection against fraud, we cannot release your purchase without seeing your payment card. If you have paid other than with a debit or credit card, to collect your goods you will need to verify your identity by producing a photo ID, which must be either your passport or photo driving licence.
11.5 We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including us, by email. We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by email. Any such loss shall be entirely your responsibility.
